Visa for Belgium

Indonesian nationals need a visa to go to Belgium for both the short stay (<90 days) and the long stay (>90 days).

East Timorese nationals are exempted from applying for the short stay visa (according to mutual visa waiver agreement with EU on 26/05/2016). These nationals are allowed to stay in the Schengen zone for a maximum of 90 days on each period of 180 days. East Timorese nationals need to apply for a long stay visa for Belgium.

A Schengen visa allows you to travel to all the Schengen countries.

1. If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate of the country which is your main destination. It is generally defined in terms of length and purpose of the stay.
2. If you will spend equal time amount in two or more Schengen countries, apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate of the country which is your first point of entry.
